Make It Your Own: Writing a Humor Piece When Everything's Been Done Before with Jiji Lee

Coming up with a new piece is a daunting task for both the beginner and experienced humor writer. But when it comes to writing a new humor piece, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You just  have to spin it in a new direction.In this workshop, we will examine common topics and subject matter in humor writing, and do writing exercises to explore all the different ways you can breathe new life into well-trodden jokes.At the end of the class, you’ll leave with new ideas for a humor piece and the tools to put your own spin on them!
