About the instructor:

Jolie Dudley is a New York-based Producer, Comedian, and devoted dog mom who has built her career around a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves a space where they feel welcomed, included, and connected. After earning degrees in Psychology and Education from Christopher Newport University and Louisiana State University, Jolie made the bold decision to leave higher education and forge a new path in entertainment—one that would blend her passion for comedy with her commitment to community service.

What started as a personal mission became a movement when Jolie co-founded "Must Love Dogs and Comedy," a groundbreaking 501(c)(3) organization that produces dog-friendly comedy shows to raise money for animal rescue while supporting diversity in comedy. Through "Must Love Dogs and Comedy," Jolie has created what Time Out New York calls "the happiest place in NYC." Her innovative approach has generated a remarkable impact: over $30,000 raised for animal rescue, more than 500 diverse comedians booked nationwide, and over 100 events produced across the country. The organization's work caught the attention of PBS, leading to a featured 30-minute episode titled "Funny Bone" on the Emmy Award-winning docuseries Shelter Me, and they just recently secured a partnership with BuzzFeed to develop a televised comedy special.

Throughout her career change from educator to entertainer-entrepreneur, Jolie has remained guided by her core values of connection, inclusion, and creativity—dedicated to creating spaces where everyone, human and canine alike, can find their pack.
